Obtained a great result by getting my client a final order of protection after a long trial in the Nassau County Family Court. The client was fearful that they did not have grounds for divorce but with the order in place we can go for the divorce with more security. We knew the husband would fight us on everything because he was difficult to say the least. Thankfully, my client documented the incident very well with pictures which got into evidence and corroborating witnesses. I don't know if this person would ever have gotten the grounds for divorce in place without this great result. I was also able to present ot the Court the horrible things the guy had done to his wife and have the court understand the protection she needed. We really had to put up an aggressive fight.
